You like you're computer, right? Quantum mechanics is the reason we have transistors. You like that your lights in your home turn on, right? Quantum mechanics helped develop nuclear reactors. You're confusing atomic or molecular physics. Quantum mechanics is that sub-atomic bit where it all gets a bit too hard to observe.
