@AdmiralKarelia1) I would beg to differ, as more and more people are buying into the blu-ray scene.2) So you're going to wait for all of the consumer electronics to "possibly" port over to mini-DisplayPort/DisplayPort, or you'd like to get a laptop NOW that has HDMI out and you can plug into any HDTV right NOW? How long do you think Sony/Samsung/Toshiba/etc etc etc will eventually phase out HDMI? 5 years? 6 years? I guarantee you you'll replace your laptop by then. Maybe twice.3) Not that expensive, and as far as overkill, that's all a matter of opinion.4) Or, carry less with you and have one laptop that can do everything?5) Maybe your friend wants to load their photos on your laptop and they don't carry the USB cable with them? I sure as hell don't carry the camera cable with me wherever I go. As a matter of fact, I don't even know what I did with mine.6) Ever hear of data redundancy? Do a quick wiki on RAID setups. And btw, if you wanna hear the true kicker for this whole thread? My current laptop (the ASUS g50vt-a2), has ALL of these features, and a bag of chips. I've already utilized everything that I mentioned in the list, have hooked into several HDTV's while I was at multiple friends' places, and love that my laptop does everything that I want it to do.I just think that it's insane that Apple charges so much for their laptops and cheats their users from so many wonderful features out there, and at the same time charging them anywhere from $600-$1000 more than what I paid for my laptop.

@AdmiralKareliaSee my response to your comment below. Your argument doesn't hold water.

As always Diggers are way too literal and simply don't get it. 100% of you never took a comparative lit class did you? Alas. If Diggnation had a literal translation it would be: Moronation....It's not the real aspect of obsoletism, it's the constant feelings of inadequacy Apple is so good at inflicting upon it's users. And did I say a thing about being a PC/Windows user? No. Are you guys at all aware of the words coming out your collective mouths? All I'm doing is talking about Apple. That's it. It's just a big electronics company. For f**k's sake, get over it.

Yeah, we all really want to pull 50GB down through our wireless connections rather than putting a disc in a drive.

No, must have SegaCD support, and it should stack onto the system, just like the original SegaCD.

Actually, 3x the battery lifetime, lithium polymer, non-cylindrical cells, gigantic capacity..I did not see that coming.

I agree with everything but 3) and 6). When you buy a pro series laptop, you tend to just bring your cord with you everywhere anyway, and they are mostly used for video and graphics editing. Better for them to serve their purpose better. The second drive is not for storage, its for speed or redundancy in RAID
