@RogerStrong - Do you work for Microsoft? I find what you are saying incredibly hard to believe. I have worked in IT for 15+ years and have dealt with everything from DOS to Win XP. I have had a lot of PCs, home built, Dells, Toshibas, Gateways, you name it. I have never had a single Windows based PC that didn't lock up once in a while, though I've had uptimes of a year or more with the exact same same hardware running UNIX. I don't own an Mac and am not a fanboy, but as someone who has to use Windows on a daily basis I'd have to say that it is a piece of crap in the stability dept compared to UNIX based OS's.

I generally use my Pocket PC to make calls, using the touch screen without the stylus. I listen to music with it too. There's nothing new about putting buttons on the screen big enough to forgo the stylus.

Microsoft's phone will be on sale Real Zune Now. It will run a version of the Windows OS called Longhorn.

Wow, a product designed by executives in a series of meetings. I'm sure it will be great.

So I suppose gamers, enterprise customers, hardware enthusiasts and software developers are morons? Not to mention the people who'd rather not have to deal with OSX's nonsensical windowing system and interface quirks, lack of customisability through the GUI, lack of support for games, relatively tiny software library, or the hardware premium. Not that I'm saying Macs don't have a place in the market. 46% of Mac users are 55 or older, which shows they're clearly more appealing to old people.

This is pure gossip. Bill Gates was specifically asked if they were going to come up with an answer to the iphone and he said no. This was created by a fanboi who wants to perpetuate the apple/microsoft feud...because they've got nothing better to do than gossip like old ladies.

Alright alright... a couple people missed the point on my comment..."Apple Reinvented the Phone"It's their catch-line for the iPhone. Just look at http://www.apple.comOr the screenshot at http://www.rose-hulman.edu/~allencw/Documents/Photo%20Host/Apple%20Reinvents%20the%20Phone.jpg Its tough to believe that there would be Diggers posting comments on an iPhone-related article without even knowing the catch-line for it. Seriously.
