all these comments for an article that is probably false.. it seems nothing more than another crap by the media to run sony's name into the ground.. and as usual diggers are jumping on the ball..cmon.. give them a little more credit.. they havent been in business this long to make dumb decisions such as this.. with a company that big i am sure at least one VP would bawl or scream at such a decision
Music software has license tranfer fees if the software is sold to another person. If I were to buy Cubase and later wanted to sell it the new owner would have to pay a fee to the original company for that software to be legaly owned. You do not own software, only the license to use it.

You do realize parents buy what kids ask for. Not to mention at a $600 price tag, they'll be a lot more skittish about buying this console.

Well, what if the game started downloading before its released - like Steam? Additionally, they would save tons if they didn't have to package games.
