engadget.com— The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Sony is slashing prices of their Stateside Playstation 3 today by $100.

wait, so because we dont want to spend $400 on a PS3, we are kids that dont have a big enough allowance?how about i'd rather spend the money on something i'd use? prehapse we are just better at handling money than you since we would rather save up the $400 for something nessessary rather than splurge on a newly released watered down version of a console.
ironically enough the 360 now has better BC than the PS3...its sad too, because BC on the PS3 would have been one of the reasons i might have picked one up.
but removing wireless, and BC. both require spending more money if you wanted to get those features back (USB wireless, $60, PS2/PS1 BC $130)before you know it you have spent $590 but thats not all, lets add in everything you NEED for your PS3 to work properly, a $60 HDMI cable, USB cable for controller $20, and add in two $60 games to make it ecquilivant to the 360 package.Total: PS3 costs $790, 360 costs $450 (Pro+wireless)you see you are saving alot of money getting a 360.
Heavenly sword sucks, lair sucks, and about 37 out of 40 good games sucks on the ps3. I've played most of the current stock pile and there's nothing that i would spend 60$ on. I have a wii and 360 and I'll stick with that. As far as obiliv goes - got it for computer for free so why would i want it on ps3? it looks just as good on my computer to me.
