engadget.com — The images here of Sony's next-gen PSP Go handheld were sourced from an obviously slipped June 2009 Qore video, and aside from giving us a look at the slider-based system, we're also told that it'll tout 16GB of internal memory, built-in Bluetooth and an undisclosed memory slot. If all goes well, it'll ship this Fall for a price to be determined.

The upper part has to be really light or you'll get a lever effect.

You mean like the Playstation 1 through 3 comtrollers?

Go is 5 in Japanese, is this the 5th iteration of the PSP? Go is also the name of the world oldest board game.

I didn't say buy them, I said download them. I don't know what Sony is doing, but they could very well provide downloadable versions to people who already own the game somehow.

hatdrop, i understand your point, however making newer games compatible only with the newer model may sell systems, it makes little sense calling it a psp-go and not a psp 2. i'm not sure if i make sense. it seems better for sony to rather than refresh what they have, to move beyond it and create a full blown successor

Sony should put a f**king second analog nub on this thing! The DSi has a new f**king control input, its a god damn CAMERA! What the f**k is so hard about one more analog nub? Don't tell me its because it will alienate old PSP users! Old DS users are not being alienated by Nintendo. If games made for the f**king DSi can run on the DSphat and DSlite, I don't see why it's so god damn hard for Sony to make games that can take advantage of a second analog nub for their new system, and just re-program the controls when running on the old systems. For an asking price $250 and no UMD drive, i'm sure they can manufacture this sucker with a right analog nub, a touch screen (not a second one, but making the top one like the iphone's multi-touch) and a gyroscopic sensor so we can play the god damn thing while its closed. That would sell like hotcakes. f**k you Sony for not listening to your fans. (AND f**k YOU FOR NOT LISTENING TO ME) We have been asking for a god damn second analog stick ever since f**kING 2004 when we first played the PSP and realized how suck-ass the camera control was on it without a second stick, not to mention how unbearable FPS are to play on the system. There is no f**king excuse for this bulls**t.
