@ newevilmindActually they did, I remember seeing it in stores many years ago, I'd estimate it was maybe 15 or so years ago. I remember seeing them near CDs, but didn't quite realize what they were.

Don't really understand the hate for Sony in here. Very good product, I'm all for buying american but our sony products have been great and very durable. Can't say Ive run into many problems, besides a television lamp issue. We went to http://xl2400.org and it ended up working out well. Will continue to buy from Sony.
