No one is getting fired because it is trivial at best. As mentioned before, Sony BMG and Sony Computers are two different companies. 95% of the people who will see this won't care, and most won't even know Sony had anything to do with it. This is a Jessica Simpson promotion and only by reading the fine print at the bottom does the name "Sony" come up. If Jessica Simpson's name was synonymous with Sony it might be different, but very few people associate "pop artists" with their labels. If it makes the companies money then who cares?

I read that Vivendi bought BMG Publishing from Bertelsmann AG for $2.1B. But BMG just owns the copyrights to Jessica's music and is not her record label which is Epic which remains owned by Sony BMG. Got that? Good.
