Has anyone ever thought of gyroscopic force feedback? I haven't seen any controllers using that feature before in which usually they used and off-balancing counter on a motor to cause vibration. Has Immersion patended this idea?
There's a lot wrong with the current generation of controllers. I haven't used the gamecube controller, but using both thumbs on two analog sticks is no way to control a 3d game in my honest opinion. It's counter-intuitive. If they want to seriously attack the computer FPS market they are going to have to come up with something that rivals mouselook, but for now that market seems entirely safe.
Let's hope its a wireless Dual Shock. Seriously, there is nothing wrong with the design of the Dual Shock controller at all, it is THE BEST peripheral ever created. I still use my PS1 pad with a convertor for PC games, instead of numerous Saitek gubbins.
Unless you come up with something like the Revolution/GO? controller, I would definitely hate being stuck with only 4 buttons and a d-pad, when playing Fight Night Round 3... c",)

Maybe it'll be like the old Xbox controllers... I'm gonna miss those.
