Not going with the whole "OMG! BC in Sony SUX!" thing, but I feel I should state a glaring omission in your Wii bashing:The Wii is 100% backwards compatible with the GC from what we know(if it fails in that regard, -then- we can criticize). The VC is to make it compatible with systems much much older on completely different mediums(cart vs optical). Not quite the same thing as shoving a PSX and PS2 ROM in your console.Oh yeah, and at "full price"? Do I find it a tad pricier then I would have liked? Yes. Full price it ain't. Stop letting your mom buy your games for a while and you'll find that out quick. But don't let me getting in the way of your one-sided Nintendo bashing.

Guitar Hero will not work on the PS3. That's huge news. The sequel is the #4 top selling game this week.DDR will not work on the PS3 either. Anything that uses a special controller will not work on the PS3.

Actually.... MS made a huge deal about backwards compatibility two E3s ago. Infact it was one of the centerpieces of their keynote. If you think Sony's SIXAXIS motion sensing bs was last minute, you obviously don't remember that presentation. Peter Moore made it sound like the 360 would have total BC... at least until the list of games got out a few days later.

Interesting - I wonder what's causing the compatibility issues, and how firmware updates can hope to fix them.
