playfuls.com — Sony has decided to acquire the central stand at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) that will take place in January next year in Las Vegas. Ok...that would seem rather normal...except for the fact that the stand will have 12,000 sq. feet (aprox 3660 square meters). That's a lot. Time to take away the X360 thunder.

Boycott Sony for me. If they want to be the patriot acts bitch go ahead with out me. As for microsoft and nintendo, well i wont buy there machines either. Microsofts machine wants to be the only object in your house. and Nintendo has been living like in 1993 for 12 years. And for the sake of the topic. DUH its going to be at CES. no digg out of stupity.

PS3 will be just the same as XBOX360, and it will be a year late. So where's your nextgen console?

Sony is known for bad business practices. Just search for Sony and bribes in google. They are also known for overhyping and even lying about their products. http://www.projectorcentral.com/sony_vpl-hs51.htm They rated this projector at 1200 lumens when it is actually only 240 lumens!! The original specs were 800 lumens but they changed it to 1200 lumens right before it was released. They also overhyped the cell processor. They claimed it is capable of 200gflops, but the 1 + 7 SPE core processor can only do 133Gflops, according to IBM. http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/power/library/pa-cellperf/?ca=drs-According to IBM's white paper, only 155.5 GFLOPS was actually achieved. BUT, IBM's tests used all8 SPEs. The PS3 will only use 7 SPE's, due to manufacturing yield issues. Sound familiar? Remember the hype about the emotion engine in the PS2? We all know how that turned out. PS3 will be a great system, but I highly doubt it will be come close to living up to Sony's hype.
