pspupdates.qj.net — A hacker has taken the next step and accomplished the unthinkable, hacking the 2.60 Firmware PSP! It is now possible to play homebrew games on your PSP no matter what firmware it has. Sony, give up on trying to stop us!

Its ironic that hacks seem to just appear for Sony devices....oh look if you solder a chip onto these 40 random points you can run a copied game....im all for the conspiracy that sony leaks hacks to boost sales, how many people buy their products with no intention of buying an original game.......quite a lot I suspect

I've started referring to my PSP as my playstation paperweight.I wish more effort was going into DS homebrew, but I guess having to use a passthrough dongle limits the amount of people willing to get into it.

You know that Sony is already 'brewing up' (pun intended) a new firmware upgrade. They will NEVER stop fighting. They are intent on making this device completely SONY; that is, only their media, their programs, and their content. But, this is nothing new as far as consoles go, portable or otherwise. Why do you think they went with Blu Ray? Because (supposedly) it's more secure.
