i have this notebook and i returned a Macbook to get this.The Sony has a better screen, sturdier and nicer to use unlike the Macbook.Not sure about the Macbook Pro.....too much money for too little system if you ask me.The Sony is a better value and runs great on Vista RC2.

Actually, Sony Vaio laptops have had the chiclet designs for awhile.
