Microsoft has never pulled a move like this. Thats refreshing a monopoly sharing things. Remember this phrase "Embrace, extend and extinguish," Netflix will be a MS owned subsidiary. I would love to see them share & work together, but its business. MS should share silverlight with Sony, Linux, Iphone. Adobe should do the same!
Madden is one of the largest selling series of all time and Smackdown games have sold more than Halo games. Each to their own. The reason I didn't count XBOX sales is because there aren't any new ones - not here in the UK at least. Last I checked they stopped releasing games on it too. You can't even buy preowned xbox games from Game anymore. ------As for your idiotic attempt to make my point less credible. I own both the 360 and PS3. Yes I am a Sony Fanboi, maybe because I prefer their console with all its nice touches rather than the loud ass noise made by my 360 or the lack of wireless networking and codec support that prevent me from using it as a media player. I buy games on both system depending on which it performs better or what I want from it. FIFA I got on the PS3 because I think the pad lends itself better to that kind of game same with beat'em ups. The 360 is better for shooting games.Your comment on the price is retarded when you factor in what you don't get with the 360. The cost of xbox live alone for the last 3 years has set me back the price of the 360 over the next 3 years it will set me back even more.
@dandoniaMaybe the key lies with your phrase "...when you are banned.".Hey dummy! Don't get banned!"Well s**t, that restaurant sucks! I paid for a membership, and they reverted me back to a standard guest when I got s**tfaced, threw up and trashed the place! Those bastards!"
Downloadable content for a game platform is one thing, paying they money, while in development, to offer these things is fine. Now an already released movie title, available on ALL OTHER platforms being banned from streaming into a competitors box? That's totally an anti-competitive dick move.

MS isn't blocking Silverlight from anyone. Bad example.
