You'd be extremely lucky just to get a PS3 in the first place, nevermind what the price is. On the other hand, PS2 hasn't had a price drop for 7 months, so maybe there will be one there soon...

When you're only launching 200,000 - 400,000 units you're not going to satisfy the general public anyway."Then they would go for $3000-4500 on ebay. Either way, the price is relative to what people are willing to pay.. and that is 2 to 3x the normal purchase price.
