citizenwii.blogspot.com — According to Phil Harrison, president of Sony Computer Entertainment worldwide, who was defending Sony from accusations that they hastily tossed together motion control in their Dual Shock controllers to steal some thunder from Nintendo's Wiimote features, Sony invented 3D graphics. You can't make this stuff up.

Sony isn't saying that they invented 3d graphics. And just like that, Nintendo didn't invent motion sensing. But Nintendo used 3d graphics after Sony, and nobody said they copied. So who are all these Nintendians to say that Sony copied Nintendo? That's what Phil was going after.Proof:"When we brought the PlayStation to the market in 1994, we ------- introduced ------- real time 3-D graphics for the first time."Notice the word introduced. It doesn't say invented. That is what nintendo is doing with the Wii, but people seem to think Nintendo invented Motion Sensing.

Either Sony is getting arrogant or it's a ply to get publicity. All this "Sony will/did/is" stuff is getting old and making me lose respect for Sony by the second.
