I'm glad that you folks were able to find the actual issue I was presenting underneath all the sarcastic belligerence.I really don't have an issue with whether or not someone reads something. Some people like their humor to be quick and concise, while others aren't particular when they choose what to read, and that's totally fine.The one thing I'd like to mention is that this comic series in particular has a subtitle that says "Comix with too many words since 2007". It seems like most of the comments about it being too long are from people who take one quick glance at this particular strip and then make a snap judgment, without realizing that the excessive writing is deliberate, and a large part of what makes this web comic unique.It's like people looking at XKCD and saying "it's dumb because it's stick people" without even reading it. It's the superficiality of it that gets to me.
Ever wonder why the idiots get all the girls? Its because they cant think this much. Girls WANT to be talked to and flirted with, and those are the only guys who are dumb and arrogant enough to talk to them without thinking twice. Girls, for the most part, think of them the same way, but what other choice do they have? Intelligence and confidence are sexy, so be confident in your knowledge and just say "f**k it" and go for it. Rejection sucks, but you've already rejected yourself if you don't try. Just my two cents...
