break.com— A couple soldiers use the grenade launcher attachments on their rifles to explode a crashed gas tanker in the desert.

If the U.S. army can spend money on unmanned predator drones to kill innocent people; they can invest in one to see if that, or any, oil tanker is rigged. I can probably build one out of a web cam, netbook and off-road RC car.I don't know the whole story here. Maybe it was filled with oil covered al qaeda leaders that, because of their oil covered state, would slip from the army's hands easily so they decided to stop them when they could. If so, then excuse my lack of understanding of how unimportant oil is in all this mess we're in.
I'm retired from the US military but have since become a devout pacifist. Having said that, I've fired a grenade launcher and it is exciting beyond belief. Now, the next time you think soldiers are brave, ask yourself just how brave a person would be if they stepped out of ranks, took their uniform off, looked their commanding officer square in the eye and said "I will not obey you." That person would be braver by far than the rest of the herd that follows orders.
That sends a nice message, "Your country may not have much but what it does have, we are going to blow up." I hope he gets an Article 15 for wasting ammunition. No wonder the rest of the world hates us.
"But this time we get an added bonus. We get to kill insurgents who are inspired by 9/11. We do it right this final time and erase Saddam's regime. We hold the war criminals accountable, and install democratic process."Saddam is dead. How much more can we erase his regime? Look at the government we installed in Iran. The Iraqi people may not be looking forward to any government they feel has been "installed" by the US.Do you honestly believe that by "winning" the war in Iraq we will prevent or stop attacks by those determined to threaten Americans? Any individual can go to a hardware store or gun shop buy some supplies carry out an attack and claim membership in some international jihad movement. At least I am glad you did not dispute that Hussein's nuclear program was a complete bluff.

More specifically the group of soldiers was mistaken. Honestly though lots of people twist real stories to make them sound more interesting.http://www.theonion.com/content/video/ultra_realis ...- realistic experience.
