joystiq.com— According to Bank of America, soft PS3 sales not only spell trouble for Sony but for the many third-party publishers supporting the platform, namely EA.

I heard that most articles submitted to digg about the PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 are amazing pieces of journalism. When will this nonsense stop? Is it possible for anyone to just enjoy the gaming console or consoles they have?
@KorexzNo, the NFL put themselves up for sale. EA just happened to be the highest bidder. EA didn't approach them. This is no different from the other things done by sports companies with exclusive network contracts, etc.You wanna bitch at someone? Bitch at the NFL.
Plain and simple, the PS3 is prices out of the market. Most people wait for a system to be marked down to $150 before they buy. With Sony this is impossible.
I'm just thinking that if Blu Ray never takes off then will they ever be able to significantly reduce the price? It's economies of scale that drives prices down, just as it did with DVD. When millions of people adopt a technology, then the price is able to come right down. But if people don't adopt blu ray en mass then it may forever stay an overpriced niche technology. Until Sony lets it die of course.

EA has already voiced tremendous support for the Wii, and Madden 07 for Wii is great.
