IT's immateraial. Make laws that make it impossible for poor people to find work to feed themselves and their children - and they will feed themselves and their children in any case. Take away legal weapons and - well, stumbled across plans for a BAR the other day. (Browning Automatic Rifle.) Anyone with a hobby machine shop could make one.Don't make me think it would be worth my time. THAT is the concept of respect for inalianable rights. Because if the government even starts to think that it can "take away weapons," they will be stunned to find out what you can make with stuff from the junk drawer.
