bingegamer.net— Starting a gaming blog isn’t as simple as just starting some random WordPress(.com) blog and rehashing gaming news from other sites.

Gawd, I couldn't even think of starting a gaming blog. In the back of my mind, I'm always thinking of starting up a blog or a video series or something, but my thoughts always come back to gaming, and I avoid that like the plague, because I feel it's been done to death. Seriously, is there any aspect of gaming that hasn't already been covered at least a dozen times? Hell, for a while I considered even just playing random games and providing an MST3K-style commentary or something, but even that's already been done.
I have a gaming blog. I updated it for 2 years. I did not make any profit on it but that was not the purpose of it. I was only talking about free games, spotting them and making short reviews, taking my own screenshots. I have stopped doing it, due to not enough time to look for and test those games. Time is critical. if you have none of it, don't even start a blog.

1. convince your reader that your gaming blog is SRS BSSNS by telling them how hardcore you are for starting your own gaming blog.

It's easier to do a vlog on games. I bought a capture card and record gameplay and talk about it, you can get more across with video included.

Just don't do it, no-one will read it since there are so many others out there.
