blambert.co.uk— By simply replacing 4 files you can completely alter how the dock looks. Try out this dark dock, it's much nicer.

Actually, the dock doesn't bother me as much as the transparent menu bar. I mean, wtf??? That's just plain retarded, especially if your destop picture doesn't play nice with the transparency. I can see no reason for it. Let me know when someone figures out how to change it back.
Ok, I guess I need to work on the values. Everything's customizable, so it's easy to get anything I want really. It's a lot better than kiba-dock's default style.. now that's sad :P .I improved the look of the reflections so they're more noticeable, and made the curve darker too (after looking at actual screenshots of leopard dock. In the end, at least it's free and completely changeable. I'm not stuck with something I need to hack into to change. I enjoy it. :)
