It's one thing when it's been a few months or over a year ago. Heck, even a few weeks ago is understandable in all honesty. But when you have an article hitting the front page 3 times within a day or two it's a bit much.
@paradigmx: I'm sick of people saying that; you're not understanding how Digg works.Of course none of us can be on Digg all the time to see every single submission, but that's part of the fun: you never know what you're going to see because it's always changing. Most of us miss 90%+ of what shows up on the front page, and that's okay. In order to solve that very problem, Digg has enabled you to look back at everything that's been on the front page already. If you haven't been on Digg for a while and you want to see what you've missed, go back and take a look...it's still there. Or, you can just do what most of us do, which is forget about what you missed and just take a look at what's on there now since you're always bound to miss something no matter what.Resubmitting stories over and over isn't the answer to this. By no means do you have to be a "loser that spends every waking moment on dupe-watch on Digg" in order to see dupes all the time.
don't get me wrong, if I miss out on the story then whatever, if it's important enough I'll hear about it anyway, but what else was this article going to replace, some cute kitten peeking through a hole in the ceiling? c'mon, seriously who gives a f**k? can't you people just be happy to let s**t be?
Fun? I don't go on Digg to have fun, I go on Digg to read the news, it's a social news site meaning the news is chosen by the people, if a story is deemed important enough that it's submitted multiple times AND manages to reach the front page multiple times, then maybe it means that it's news I might be interested in reading.I don't have the time to "look back and see what's been on the front page", I'm on Digg for a grand total of about a half hour on some days, most of the time less than that, sometimes as little as 5 minutes. Much of my time is spent commenting, so as you can tell I rely on what is on the front page here and now, not 6 hours ago, not 2 days ago, right now.

How about highly intelligent people are more likely to be depressed/anxious and therefore more likely to abuse substances?http://www.recurrentdepression.com/site/more/depre ...

College educated women are also more likely to be into anal. I'm not making this s**t (pun?) up.

Sounds a lot like me, to a certain extent. Drinking tends to distract me from my 'inner dialog'.
