Tags are useful when bookmarking a site in <a class="user" href="http://del.icio.us">http://del.icio.us</a> , etc. You can organize bookmarks by puting tags on them so you can easily find them especially when you have hundreds of bookmarks.
Ok. If it produces tags, try putting something besides a tag into it. For example, "videogames" would be more of a tag. Anyway I tried it and it seemed to work. I put in, He’s a clever little guy that really knows his tags. Tell him what you’re talking about and he’ll tell you what tags you might want to use.and it returned tagging social photos del.icio.us tags web2.0 It's ok.Most people don't need to generate tags programmatically but it could be a good link in a tool chain, where a machine is trying to find similar content via shared tags.
