If you have Opera, right-click anywhere on the page and select "Reload every..." and the number of times per second/minute/hour. In fact, I think I'll enable that now and run it while I sleep.
Could you please add the prices you're paying for each, and what they claim to be offering (99.999999999% uptime, 4billion gig transfer, etc. etc.) to the chart. That would be really useful!
"BTW, how hard is it to display some random text with a colored background. If they really wanted to test it they would be serving up video or something along those lines. Not just text."Ok anyone who has more server experience than me; feel free to correct me however from my experience hosting videos will just whore up the bandwidth not necessarily test the servers reliability. A POS 20 year old server can distribute video to people. It's handling a trillion connections (what digg causes) that really tests equipment
The infographic is very informative but when it comes to best web hosting, we should consider both the cost and reliability. As far as i know, theres only one webhosting that provides both. ipage webhosting @ $3.50/month - http://bit.ly/ak0S7e

This story was just a shady marketing ploy...Web 2.0 Effect Debunked As Marketing Ployhttp://www.webpronews.com/insiderreports/2007/07/0 ...Right now, the experiment site is giving invisible links to some of Russ Virante's clients. Shame on him for manipulating Digg and for engaging in cloaking / not disclosing his commercial interests.
