I'm glad the article mentions miniature schnauzer,s as I am a recent convert. My daughter was given one less than six months ago and I have fallen in love with it like no other dog before it. A real rascal with a cheeky glint in its every action yet the most intelligent animal I have ever met. "Branston" is as trained at six months as I have seen any dog trained. He can sniff out any object you ask him to find and sits comes and fetches with great aplomb. His shaggy coat has just been clipped for the first time and he now looks good in a bow tie and scarf. I just wish I had a herd of cattle or sheep for him to round up because he would catch on in seconds. The miniature schnauzer gives you the best of all worlds in my view. They are big enough not to be tripping you up, yet small enough that they don't take up the entire living room. They are intelligent and thus fully trainable and they are loyal and great tempered. I could go on, I think you are convinced that I like the miniature schnauzer's.
