informationweek.com — Popular voice over IP provider Skype experienced an outage on Thursday, possibly leaving millions of subscribers without phone service. I am very glad this happened as my company could now explore alternatives. We can not be without phone service for 2 days and now Microsoft Messenger (the new one) is what we will be using.
