about.skype.com— How hard it must be to work at Vonage right now! What a good deal if you have family or friends or just want to see if they have running fridges in the UK!

What about those of us with family in the US and we currently live over in Europe? Sigh... would be nice if it went the otherway too.SkypeOut is still cheaper than regular international calls though, so it's harder to complain. :D
Please please use our service. We overpaid by 1.7 billion dollors for skype and now we are losing lots of customers because we have been offering crapy service ever since the company changed hands.
His title was accurate. Skype is offering free international calls, but not to every country. There is an assumption that you pudwips would actually go and read the article for full details. And I have not noticed any reduction in quality with Skype recently at all.
Wake up? They aren't making any money on this promotion.I think it's perfectly logical that Ebay/Skype would offer free service in the country where they are based before the rest of the world. This summary is really better than most, at least it mentions that the whole thing is limited time which means it's not worth the bother any way.

But it's not even innaccurate. I'd call Japan and the UK "international". You just can't call any country for free.

This isn't possibly inaccurate, it IS in accurate. The digg description should at least be updated.

I have a Skype account for free out bound PSTN calls. How do you beat that! THERE IS MORE....Well I have Sprint to home with Voicestick set as the "home" number and I then use the bridge they have for free cell calls.I guess you could say I triple dip!http://www.voicestick.com and look at the i2bridgeFor a cell see http://www.sprint.com and getSprint to home ($5 a month)ANd http://www.skype.com

That would be a great idea, but skype-to-POTS is often very poor quality.
