Um, just just came across as sounding like a moron. "command the nuances of the [E]nglish language"? What, exactly, do you do for a living? If you care so much about your "command of the language" you could start by capitalizing the first word of every sentence. That'd be a fair start. *breathes through mouth, burried ath duming down!*

"Go ahead and set up a call" could also be a dare. So it's not precise. "You may set up a call" would be a more precise approval.
