sixapart.com — I am pleased to announce that today we are welcoming the Pownce team and technology to Six Apart. Pownce launched in June of 2007 and opened to the public earlier this year, but, as mentioned on the Pownce blog Pownce.com will be closing in the next few weeks.

I hope that if someone buys Plurk, they keep the threading around. It's goddamn impossible to carry on a conversation over Twitter.

I can't belive I bothered with a "pro" account. I don't want a free year of Typepad. I've got my own blog (coming soon) on my own domain (Wordpress software). The pro account was meaningless to me. I was supporting Kevin Rose and company. Oh well, if they sell off Digg, at least there's Mixx and reddit...Meanwhile I'll cancel my account with Six-Apart owned Vox. I never use it anyway.

I just love the title of this article, "...welcomes pownce." I would change the title to "killing pownce and trying to suck displaced users to an experimental and featureless microblogger site called vox." See you bitches on rejaw.
