refundplease.com — Amazon.com's price guarantee gives cash back if you buy something and their price drops in the next 30 days. On this site you can enter the ISBN/ASIN and date purchased, and they will email you if the price drops. Amazingly simple, and it's worked for me for at least $200 in refunds. Use an appropriate email address should they decide to SPAM you

Maybe I am just paranoid, but I would not allow a third party site to track my purchases at all. We already suffer enough from our privacy being invaded and our personal information being bought and sold like a commodity without our proper consent or knowledge. If I buy a book on say, hunting, and another on how to handle a small water craft and say a third on barbecuing, it won't be long before I start getting ads for fishing rods, guns, tires for my 4x4, camping gear etc. Just because the spam does not come from the site you sign up for does not mean that they won't sell you like a cheap whore. My identity and personal preferences are not for sale and will not be easily given up to save $50

First time I ever bought something from Amazon.com, but I just got a $1 refund... Watching the price to see if it drops any more, and now that I know about that, I'll be buying more from them.
