So many haters! This past season has been one of their best. More of a return to form in the 5th, 6th, season style of shows. Though I'm one of the few who loves the complete insanity of the modern episodes (early and mid-2000's). I must be the only guy that grew up on the show and still loves it, and as I grew up, so did it. I feel like our senses of humor have been perfectly in tune through the years.Just watch the Screamapillar episode (he's sexually attracted to fire) and tell me the modern episodes aren't great. If you don't like that you have no sense of humor and are just looking for something to hate. Hateboys.

Hmm, I've been watching The Simpsons lately and it's definitely run out of gas.Seeing as Matt Groening is wanting to bring back Futurama, I'd say run The Simpsons through to its 20th anniversary this year then let it go gracefully and with some dignity instead of whoring it to death, and bring back Futurama which was actually very successful when it was originally aired. Don't know why they killed it originally because IMO it was always better than The Simpsons.I'm sorry, but The Simpsons is just not funny for me anymore. It's got too political and rooted in current affairs (much like South Park has as well, so I'm not singling anything out) whereas Family Guy and American Dad still make me laugh and act as genuine entertainment as opposed to a cartoon version of last week's news.Seriously, can we please have a cartoon that *doesn't* drag current affairs and world news into it as soon as it's happened? South Park does that and it is so irritating, what happened to the old escapist entertainment it was when it started?
