what do you mean? Even though it is just a stick figure, this guy is the very epitome of the pricks that make up 99.99999% of Google and/or Apple fanboys. I mean, look at the goatee....true fanboy right there.
XKCD is alright most of the time. Questionable content is more story driven, to appreciate it you have to follow it regularly. I mean not a huge fan but know people who are, most webcomics are pretty lame about 75% of the time.I know i know, XKCD had that several month run of repeatedly producing the "best xkcd ever" but i mean, that was lightning in a bottle.
I think both the creator of the comic made the right point in the wrong way. It's not necessarily how many form fields you have it's how well the interface is designed. Things he/she tried to point out with the crowded/cluttered layout of the last item and the seemingly randomly colored buttons below. I've done my fair share of interface design and it is little things like visually aligning input fields, giving them enough white space surrounding each, or small details like having a play button toggle to pause when you click it rather than having both a play & pause button that really make an app or site feel well thought out. Most of these crazy apps end up that way because of years of tacking on every suggestion or request by anyone with power in the organization.

Why not link to a recent QC, where people look like people?
