justaguything.com — We all know that scrimping and saving is a pain and too dull for words but the fact is that making a few tiny changes to the way we shop, save and invest could mean the difference between ending our days in a mansion or an old peoples home.

Again, freelancing or contracting are not options during 15 minutes before I go to work in the morning. The opportunity cost is the opportunity cost of (light) sleeping, or of playing with the dog, or something on that level. Not wage labor. Would you pay 5 dollars every day to get 15 minutes more sleep, all other things equal? I would certainly not. Maybe you would. It's certainly not such an obvious choice that these types of articles are all just ridiculous, as you seem to be suggesting. As for restaurant quality food? No. But the difference between what I can put together in 5 minutes and a restaurant is generally just the difference of whether the sandwich is grilled in a bunch of oil or not. Although mine doesn't taste as good, I view the financial incentive to eat healthier as a resulting benefit, not a cost. Restaurants also don't generally serve you things like applesauce and fresh whole fruit with your meals. Or you pay another 3 bucks for them if they do.

File your taxes, and get YOUR money back and do it for free. I found a free download of TaxCut software on www.download.com. It was everything I needed to do my fed taxes. It doesn't include state and e-file is extra but you can mail it in, no cost at all

He might not be saving billions on his grocery bill, but the money he makes and saves is a direct result of the ability to make investment and business decisions based on pure logic rather than emotion and it starts with the decision to save money in everyday life, including the decision to make your lunch regularly when you really want to get it at McDonalds all the time, and if you feel rushed preparing lunch in the morning, than do it the night before.

Set up a SmartyPig.com savings account and save up towards purchases, instead of putting it on credit and paying interest. Plus, you might get others to help pay for the stuff you want. Hey, you never know. Anyone want to help me buy my flatscreen TV don't hesitate.
