My point was that they are NOT but it is because of ignorance on the part of the people they report to who take it on faith that: .Net, SQL server, ActiveX, etc. are the tools they Need to use. Research me a little; I give you permission. I'm very familiar, if not enamored, with corporate IS decision making.
