i don't think he was talking about standards. he was talknig about flash being a horrible user interface. how many times have you complained about a flash site?

"We as web developers..." Speak for yourself, don't presume to know what every web developer thinks. Microsoft technology has a very large marketshare in the web world, and I would wager that most of those web developers aren't as closed-minded as you.

I dont even know why I argue with digg users... @Demonmonger: Don't preach to me about that, talk to the 1000's of flash web designers that thing flash is the greatest thing sense sliced bread for everything. I personally almost never endorse its use except for media such as video or audio and maybe games.@manfrin: it was posted before the comments where there, but dig takes 2 minutes to finalize a post...

Instead of comparing it to Flash compare it to Flex or JavaFXWhat can Silverlight do that Flex or JavaFX can't?
