Yeah, but a $200 price drop after 2 months is a really s**tty way to treat your early adopters.

Agreed. That's the point. It's not a matter of the price dropping... everyone expected that. It's the timing. If you bought a new car for $21,000 and they waited a couple months and dropped the price to $14,000 (2/3 original price) wouldn't you be a little 'annoyed'?
