You say 300 more like it is nothing. It's a 150% increase in price. I'd say that is significant. $750 more than the Mac Mini and you might get some serious power. While this is true, it's not the same market.
I agree you wouldnt want a crappy processor, but I have heard lots of praise from people who use gOS that it runs great. IF you need a better processor for what you need to do you can pay for it. No one is taking taht option away from people.
