I think that one is more likely to contribute to curing cancer by being an aborted fetus that is used for stem cell research than being born, going to school and learning all that science and s**t.
"comparing routine abortions to public roads or vaccinations or blood transfusions is ridiculous" Who are you to tell me what my morals should be? If you want to be against abortions, why can't I be against transfusions and public roads? If you can impose your morals on other, why can't I? Why do you hate freedom?
So your saying its better to abort a person instead of letting them live because life might be hard? Has anyone with a hard life made any great contributions to society or the world? I guess all third world countries should wipe out there poor.
""if abortion is murder, are those who get abortions murderers and should they be treated as such?" or "when exactly does a fetus become a baby?""Those are good questions to discuss. And I've seen them discussed. In fact, You ask the majority of anti-abortion people who spout "Abortion is murder" if they support life sentences for mothers who get abortions, they stutter, falter, and then mumble something about them having suffered enough. So they don't think they deserve the same punishment as murderers.
@ untouchablesorry, i didn't realize we were arguing... i actually agree with you completely in theory, i do have opinions about things my taxes are spent on, i've just spent several years fighting against torture, war crimes, and war in general, and i would love to live in a country where all government budgets are divulged. but as we both know, what we want and what we're actually entitled to in this country are two very different things.having said all that, abortion is not a war crime, nor is it torture, nor is anyone's health care anybody else's business, even if you did kick in a couple cents.

Yes, for any reason and without a second thought. "Free" should be added to "safe, legal and rare."
