Shaq, as great as he was, is now more a liability to a team. Yeah, he might fill a few seats for a little while (until it becomes clear the team still sucks) but all he'll do is stunt the development of younger players, prevent the Nets from running and be a general pain in the butt distraction. Seems perfect for the Knicks who probably are poised to make him a max offer, as soon as Lebron turns them down.

That's what I was thinking - if he's basically willing to go there fore "free" (he's made his money already), why not take him?

@roxgod666I weigh 162 pounds. Sports aren't a requirement for staying fit and understanding calorie intake. But that is probably way over your head. Especially if you spent the better part of your high school years trying desperately to pass your classes so that you could keep your grades high enough to stay on the football team.

Shaq is one of the best centers off all time. So, it's hard for him to stop playing because he wants to go out on top. If he goes to the Nets. I think Shaq will be happy and play his best game in years.
