This is one of many reasons I homeschool my girls.I do not want some school official handing condoms to my children and lying to them that that will protect them. The truth is, abstinence is the only answer. Be faithful to your future spouse.Simply and effective.
The lead to this story is wholly misleading. It places the blame of increased STD exposure on "American squeamishness about talking about sex" when, in reality, Americans have become increasingly desensitized and overexposed to sexuality since the 1960s and increased STDs have followed in direct correlation. It is overexposure, not underexposure, which has caused the increase of STDs in American society.
