Yes I can childbz. If you aren't a retard. I've got the iPod touch, and its really not that large of an improvement over Blackberry or Windows Mobile. Its prettier, but doesn't really go beyond that veneer. And the iPhone is not "smooth." Just look at those wall of icons. There's no file system or hierarchy.

Leo Laporte talked about this issue on Twit recently. Apparently, there are a few cities like San Fran and NY that get lousy ATT service for geographical and population reasons (i.e. lots of hills/tall buildings and tons of people trying to use the service at once). Because there are also a disproportionate number of whiny tech journalists and bloggers who live in these areas, a perception has been created that ATT is a sub par service all over the country, which is simply not the case. I've used an iPhone for two years without incident in multiple cities with no dropped calls, no data problems and no billing errors.

Yeah base your decision on the homebrew apps can't see a flaw in that logic. Wait until you see how poorly the hardware performs and how slowly interface responds then maybe you'll consider revising your decision making skills.

Your opinion. I find living with poor service just to get a great device seriously flawed. When Apple opens service up to Verizon, I'll ditch the Blackberry.
