I wouldn't exactly call Benny Hinn a cult leader, but he's most certainly a scam artist in the vein of Al Sharpton, Jim Bakker and Jesse Jackson. The Bible has been proven to be "factually deficient" on many occasions, so you can't call it the "truth". That having been said your version of your fairy tale is fine. I even think FSM is fine too...I supported him for being taught in creation science and sent a letter to the school board thank you. My fairy tale is Paganism. I have been called an "occultist". I have been accused of "cult" practices, by very un-educated locals. I hate the term cult. You know, that your ethnocentric world view is not the only one. "Occult" means hidden and secret. The modern term "cult" came from this term. It is a shortened form. This man is not hiding traditions or in secret. He is not teaching a mystery tradition of any sort. This man is a bamboozler. Period. There is nothing holy about it. "Occult" is a Pagan RELIGIOUS term. Thanks, please don't use my cultures words unless you know how to.
