centripetalnotion.com — I'm sure most who have seen both Serenity and Firefly will agree the movie has more impact in the context of the series -- unfortunately a lot of people interested (or potentially interested) in Serenity will never see it. For the sake of promoting the movie, I've compiled some key moments from the series into a video. Spread the word Browncoats!

"The Browncoats were fighting for independence from a monolithic government, not trying to conquer or impose their beliefs on anybody else."But, isn't that exactly what rebels do? They just try to "...impose their beliefs on..." a smaller group of people?

I'm a big fan of Firefly/Serenity, I think this is a fantastic idea, Bravo! I'll be sure to spread the word about this on the Message Boards that I frequent. :)Oh and Dugg.

@mikereads: You're not the only one.I never watched Firefly, but thought I would go see Serenity to see what the fuss was about. I don't get what the big deal is. It's just your average sci-fi movie. Afterwards, the guy I went with said "I can see why they cancelled it."I was rolling my eyes at the whole cannibal "plot twist" at the end. LAME.

With all the moaning about this movie I feel compelled to watch it. I really don't want to see it, but we will see what happens....
