cinemablend.com — Serenity was a massive flop in theaters, but could big DVD sales for the box office bombed film be enough to resurrect the franchise? Alan Tudyk thinks so and he?s excited about it, even if his character is dead.

actually, it's hilarious that every s**tty movie gets a sequel. The ones that have stories that would be perfect for sequels never get sequels made for them, the ones where you think "there's no way they could make a sequel for that" get sequels. Go figure. Alien vs. predator, for instance, is getting a sequel. Fantastic Four got one and is supposed to get two more. Those are BAD. Bad movies. Transformers. Saw 4, 5, and 6. sorry bro, all the s**tty flicks get the sequels. good ones never do.

Nice I can't wait hopefully they'll explain more backstory to the whole solar system as described in the comics and the RPG.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serenity_RPG

I really wish they hadn't explained the reavers in the movie; it would have made such a great running mystery, with gradual explanation and lots of viewer speculation. Part of what made the reavers so scary was their seeming lack of a reason to exist. They're very much like the Borg in star trek, or the Daleks in Doctor Who both of which had mysterious origins and part of what made them so cool and scary. To have it explained so concisely and so soon in a neat little explanation was almost a bit of a letdown.
