postrapturepost.com — Just write your letter and it will be hand-delivered immediately following the exodus of the pure from the Earth. But you must be thinking to yourself, "How can the letters be delivered after the Rapture?" The answer is simple. The creators of this site are Atheists.

Ok, if the Rapture does happen....I doubt the U.S. Postal Service would still function in any form.

"I'm an atheist and I would love for the rapture to happen, imagine how peaceful this world would be."I was thinking the same thing.

I'm wondering if these people can be prosecuted for running a scam. Christians believe in the Rapture, but athiests clearly do not. Therefore, they are accepting money for services they believe they will never have to render. That's soliciting money under false pretenses. There is legal precedent for arresting people who just THINK they are commiting a crime. For instance, I once saw a young lady arrested, prosecuted and jailed for possession of drugs even though the "drugs" turned out to be phony.

I hate atheists they're always so smug. I got to admit that religion is taking great part in slowing down the progress of mankind but so many atheists are just as stupid as the religious people and still act like they know better. It sickens me. I'm Agnostic btw. That means i don't rule out the possibility of god or an afterlife. But still believe in science of course.

My great lament is that so many people miss out on what Christianity has to offer because of the all too many idiots who are trying to spread the Good News. I am a Christian, and I certainly do not believe in some guy in nightshirt up in the sky somewhere. That would be Zeus. Unfortunately, the Christians who do the best job of spreading the word are the biggest group of idiots in the club. So other in-duh-viduals think that all Christians are mindless robots who can't spell Evolution, mush less explain its basic tenets. Thanks God there are various denominations so that the idiots can clump and let rational, thoughtful, tolerant Christan's do their thing. For the most part, they are found in the Episcoapl Church, but we have our flamers, too. For now.

OOOH! Are you doing a purge? Don't worry, it's always the OTHER christians. It's never YOU that believes in baseless crap. It's never YOU that does the wrong thing, but somehow it IS you that waves the same flag as the people you're trying to excommunicate.

No, no purge. Some are choosing to leave or split becasue they don't like the idea that God can use whomever God pleases, even gay and lesbian persons. I woudl prefer that they not leave the fold. But there are many who can't seem top bring themselves to talk to anyone who doesn't read the Bible the same way that they do.

I enjoyed this site and it did cause me to look into the other sites in which this one was a satire. I also listened to an interview with the original creator of raptureletter.com .As to the argument above of Christians vs Atheists....There is a simple way to figure it out:Either the Bible is the word of the Lord (or inspired by) or it is not.If it is (and under the assumption that God is almighty, all-knowing, etc....), then the Bible is infallible. If it is infallible, then by definition ALL of it is correct. Including the stuff about selling your stuff and giving it away to the poor (Jesus told you to do this with ALL of your things) and the stuff on homosexuality and the stuff on eating shellfish. It's an all or nothing deal. OK, say you believe that it's the word of the Lord and you say "ok" to everything in it. Any you may go against it once in a while (maybe you didn't stone your teenage son to death when he spoke back to you. or maybe you didn't kill your non-virgin daughter). That's all ok, but you don't have to do what it says as long as you never doubt, right? Mark 3:28-29 "Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin"ok... stick with me...so you can do whatever you want against the Bible as long as you never doubt. It's a catch 22. So Atheists out there, you can't convince anyone. If they even read what you write/listen to what you say, they HAVE to tune you out! If their mind even for a second thinks what you are saying might be true, then they will be creating the ultimate sin and damning themselves. They can do whatever they want EXCEPT question their religion. So your comments are falling on deaf ears. Although, if you do get one to doubt, then you can tell them that they will be hanging out in Hell with you! heehee
