Say hello to Senator Ralph Nader ( I-CT ). Connecticut, you owe it to us after sticking us with Joe Lieberman.

For all his faults, Dodd wasn't so bad. He was a strong champion for medical marijuana, leveling the playing field for all people (particularly with affirmative action), reproductive rights, the environment, and gay marriage. One of his most recent big achievements was the Credit Card Accountability, Responsibility, and Disclosure Act of 2009, which should finally reign in those greedy bastards, at least a bit.

Meet the next Senator from Connecticut: Attorney General Richard Blumenthal. He is clobbering GOPers in a poll released just today. Dodd's retirement is GREAT news from Dems."Poll: Blumenthal Already Way Ahead Of Connecticut GOP Senate Candidates": http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/01/poll-bl ...

I'm sure I can get some universal health care $$ to pay toward treatment of it, under the new plan.
