Its unlikely that hes pandering as the voting public concerned about NASA's budget is relatively small. He doesnt really stand to lose or gain anything noticeable taking either position.

i guess the difference is that i knew bush was a disaster before he was appointed president. saying bush and bold vision in the same sentence is enough to make you laugh/cry.
