The US is the most prosperous free nation mankind has ever seen BECAUSE of the government our founding fathers set up. Sure it is a terrible system - except for every other option. I'm fine with government spending and greatly appreciate the blessing of living in a nation built on it, from universal education to the Internet. (Cue the line of people making up Al Gore quotes and insisting our education sucks worse than the middle ages - ignorant, America hating pricks.)
