crooksandliars.com — The Senate bowed to White House pressure last night and passed a Republican plan for overhauling the federal government’s terrorist surveillance laws, approving changes that would temporarily give U.S. spy agencies expanded power to eavesdrop on foreign suspects without a court order.

Do you people actually dig a little deeper then what they are feeding you? This has been in the works for a long time in closed door meetings. For some crazy reason the demoncrats didn't want the FBI to be able to monitor phone calls OUTSIDE of America!!! It was considered classified because it was a week link in policy dating back some time ago. The bush Administration LEAKED the Classified info to make the Demoncrats work with them on it! I say its freekin crazy not to allow the FBI monitor calls outside the USA but allow them to do so INSIDE!

Dugg down as inaccurate. This is used to spy on foreign transmissions routed through America, not to spy on American citizens.
